Week One

I know that a lot of you are anxious to hear from me. Well worry no more.

I'm doing so well here! There is nothing so far that I truly don't like. Living here is like living in a fairytale. There's always something going on. Vienna is a city that offers something for anyone. During the day, it is so serene here. People are either riding bikes, going to parks, walking along the streets, or eating at a local cafe. A stroll through the city transports you to another world. The buildings are breath-taking. At night, the city takes on a whole new appearance. The night life explodes. The clubs and bars fill with people, and you can hear them from blocks away. Then, morning breaks once again and all signs of the previous night disappear, as though they never even existed.

I'm keeping busy with classes now. They began on Tuesday. I'm only taking 4 classes: Principles of Finance, Principles of Marketing, Business Statistics and Beginning German. They will definitely keep me entertained this semester.

When I'm not in class, I'm planning my weekends. Classes end at 3pm on Thursdays for me every week which gives me 3 day weekends to travel. I wan't to see the world. My time here is so limited. "There just never seems to be enough time to do the things you want to do..."

I've made countless friends here already. They teach me so much about life. We are all so different. We come from all over the world: Hungry, LA, Peru, Miami, Serbia, Chicago, Mexico, Sweden, Italy, Brazil, Jamacia, Vienna, and more. Our cultures, our beliefs, our religions, our families, everything is so diverse. We are a functioning, disfunctional family here. We've already developed a bond that is sure to last a lifetime.

I love my life here. God continues to be my everything. He takes care of me, comforts me, watches over me, and loves me more than I can fathom why. I can't wait to see what this semester has in store for me, for my friends, for my families.

Talk at you soon
